How much does it cost to join BNI?

One of the first questions people ask is: how much does it cost to join BNI?

There are two parts. First, a one-off joining fee when you start, and then an annual membership fee. In New Zealand, it’s usually a few hundred dollars to join and then around a thousand dollars a year to stay a member.

But here’s the thing: the real question isn’t “what does it cost?”. It’s “what do I get back?” Most of our members generate thousands, sometimes tens of thousands of dollars in closed business every year through BNI referrals. The return is almost always far greater than the investment.
